MILASH Threads — Privacy Policy

MILASH Threads ("the App") is a private tool operated by SMOKE & TEA BAR (PVT) LTD (company number PV00265892, Galle, Sri Lanka) ("we") for its service business in Bali, Indonesia. It finds public Threads posts in which people ask for local services (transfers, visas, villa rentals, club guest lists, etc.) and notifies the business owner so they can reply manually.

What data we access

Through the official Threads API, the App accesses only:

• Public Threads posts returned by keyword search: post text, author username, post link (permalink) and publication time.
• The App owner's own Threads account (user ID and access token) used to authenticate API requests.

We do not access private messages, follower lists, contacts, location, or any non-public information. We do not access data of people who have not published public posts.

How we use the data

• To check whether a public post is a request for services relevant to our business (by keywords and, optionally, by automated text classification).
• To send a private notification with the post text, author username and link to the business owner via a Telegram bot.
• The owner then decides whether to reply to the post manually on Threads. The App does not publish, reply, like or message anyone automatically.

Storage and retention

• Post IDs are stored to avoid duplicate notifications; they are kept for up to 30 days.
• Post text, username and link are stored only when the owner marks a notification as useful or as not relevant (to improve filtering); such records are kept for up to 90 days and then deleted.
• The access token is stored on our private server and is never shared.

Sharing

We do not sell, rent or share data with third parties for advertising or any other purpose. Data is processed only by service providers needed to run the App:

• Telegram — delivery of notifications to the business owner;
• Anthropic — optional automated classification of post text (text only, not used to train models);
• Railway — server hosting.

Data deletion

If you want a post or your username removed from our records, contact us at the address below with your Threads username or post link. We will delete the related data within 7 days and confirm by email. You can also remove our access at any time in the Threads app: Settings → Account → Website permissions.
